Rotate PDF
Rotate the pages of a PDF by 90, 180 or 270 degrees. Rotate the whole document, or just one page — scans that mix landscape and portrait often need exactly that.

About Rotate PDF
Scans that come out sideways, or a PDF shot on a phone with the wrong orientation — this fixes it.
Two ways to work: the rotate button on each thumbnail turns that one page 90 degrees, while "Rotate all 90°" turns the whole document at once. Scans that mix landscape and portrait often need both — rotate just the sideways pages and leave the rest alone.
Rotation adds to the existing angle rather than setting it. Some scanners and tablets produce PDFs that already carry a 90-degree rotation in the page properties, and treating it as "set to 90" would send those the wrong way. This adds, so four clicks bring you back to the original, and experimenting cannot break the file.
Page dimensions and content are untouched — only the display orientation changes, so the file size stays about the same. Everything runs in your browser and the file is never uploaded.
Frequently asked questions
One click and the orientation is still wrong — why?
The file may already carry rotation metadata, so adding another 90 overshoots. Four clicks return to the start; try two clicks the other way.
Can I rotate only some pages?
Yes. The button on each thumbnail affects that page alone, and you can combine it with the rotate-all control.
Does the file get bigger after rotating?
Barely. Only the angle in the page properties changes; the images are repackaged but not recompressed.
Is quality lost?
No. pdf-lib changes the page rotation value; the images and text inside move across as-is.
