About

A free collection of 40 everyday online tools. Open a page and use it — nothing to install, no account required.

What this site is

Everything here is the sort of thing you need now and then but end up searching for every single time: character counting, MD5, Base64, timestamp conversion, number bases, image compression, unit conversion. The goal is modest — open it when you need it, close it when you are done, without installing software or signing up.

Who runs it

I maintain this site myself — there is no company behind it and no team. The tools are the ones I kept using in my own work and thought deserved a page of their own.

Why it exists

The reason for building it was practical: no single site had all the tools I needed, so one small task meant opening three or four of them. Some of those were also slow — click, then wait. So I made one place that holds the ones I actually use: open it, done.

Why it feels fast

The tools calculate directly in your browser instead of waiting on a server, so a click gives you a result almost immediately — and when the network is poor, nothing here gets slower. The only thing recorded is an anonymous counter of which tool pages get opened, so I know what is worth maintaining; the privacy page has the details.

How it is meant to be used

The interface stays deliberately plain: type, click, read the result. No onboarding, and nothing designed to keep you on the page longer. Close the tab when you are finished.

How long data is kept

Every tool finishes its work in your browser, so normally nothing you enter leaves this device. If a tool genuinely has to be handled on the server — the page will say so — the data is deleted automatically within 72 hours of processing. Server capacity and storage both cost money, so nothing is kept long term.

What it does not do

A few things this site deliberately does not do, so there are no surprises: results are not saved anywhere, so closing the page loses them; there is no batch processing, no API and no long-term file storage; and some tools depend on your device — compressing a large photo on a phone is noticeably slower than on a laptop.
