About Extract PDF Pages

Nothing is ticked to begin with — tick the pages you want and that is what you get.

Picks the pages you need out of a PDF and saves them as a separate file.

The mirror image of deleting pages: deleting keeps the unticked ones, extracting keeps the ticked ones. Either tool handles the same set; only the ticking differs. Deleting a few is quicker on a long file, while extracting is clearer when you only want two or three pages out of many.

Typical cases: pulling the signature page out of a long contract, lifting your own chapter out of a combined report, splitting an appendix off a bound document.

Extracted pages keep their original order — they are arranged as they appeared in the source, not in the order you ticked them. Nothing is recompressed, so image and text quality is exactly as it was.

With nothing ticked the tool will not produce an empty file; it asks you to select a page first.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference from deleting?

Two ways at the same set: deleting keeps what you untick, extracting keeps what you tick. Same result, opposite gesture.

Do extracted pages follow the order I ticked them?

No — they follow their original order in the source. Use the reorder tool if you need a custom sequence.

Is quality lost?

No. Pages are copied across as-is; images are not recompressed.

Can I extract non-consecutive pages?

Yes, tick as many as you like; they need not be adjacent.
