About Delete PDF Pages

Removes whole pages from a PDF and exports what is left.

Every page is rendered as a thumbnail once the file loads. Untick the ones you want gone; the ticked ones stay. Everything starts selected, so deleting a few pages means unticking a few, which is less work than the other way round. Select all and select none help on long documents.

Pages are removed whole, not blanked out. The image, text and links on that page disappear with it, and the remaining pages are not reflowed, do not shift to fill the gap, and keep their original numbering — so a hand-typed "page 3 of 10" will not update itself and needs separate attention.

You cannot delete every page: with nothing left the button refuses, because the PDF spec requires at least one page and a zero-page file will not open.

Frequently asked questions

Can I get the deleted pages back?

The original is untouched — you downloaded a new file. Upload the original again and leave that page ticked.

Are page numbers renumbered?

No. Any printed page numbers, headers and footers are page content and stay as they were. Use the page-numbering tool if you need them redone.

Why can't I delete every page?

The PDF spec requires at least one page, and a zero-page file will not open, so the tool blocks it.

Is my file uploaded?

No. Reading, thumbnail rendering and rebuilding all happen in your browser.
