About Image Watermark
Drop an image, type a line of text or pick a logo, then adjust position, angle and opacity and download. Compositing runs locally in canvas — nothing is uploaded.
Everything is proportional
Font size, margin and logo width are percentages of the image width, so what the preview shows is the same proportion in the full-resolution export. The preview is scaled down to fit the page; the export is not.
When to turn the shadow on
White text over a white wall or a bright sky turns into mush. A shadow is the cheapest fix and looks more natural than an outline. On very busy backgrounds, push opacity above 80% or switch on tiling — a uniform pattern is much harder to crop out than a single label.
About protection
A watermark raises the cost of reuse, but cropping the corner away or healing it out still works. If the copyright really matters, keep the original file as well.
Frequently asked questions
Does the watermark cost quality?
The export is re-encoded once, so there is a small loss. JPG goes out at 0.94, which is visually clean; if the source is a PNG with transparency, choose PNG output and it stays lossless.
Why does the exported watermark land exactly where the preview showed it?
Size, margin and logo width are stored as percentages of the image width, so preview and export differ only in canvas size, never in proportion.
Can it process a batch?
One image per pass, but your settings persist — drop the next file and hit download again; position, angle and opacity stay as they were.
