QR Code Generator

Higher correction survives more damage, but fits less data

About QR Code Generator

Type a URL or any text and the code appears on the right. Three sizes, four error-correction levels. If a long link refuses to scan, lower the correction level first or shorten the link.

Correction level is how much damage the code survives. L tolerates roughly seven percent, H up to thirty, and the trade-off is density: more correction means more modules for the same content. For print on a business card or a sticker, M or Q is a good default; on screen M is plenty.

Generation, rendering and download all happen in the browser, so the link you type never reaches a server. The PNG you get is the real pixel size, not an upscaled blur.

Frequently asked questions

Does it handle Chinese?

Yes, encoded as UTF-8. Short text is fine; longer content packs more modules and is harder to scan.

Why will my phone not read it?

Usually the content is too long or the image too small. Lower the correction level, enlarge the size, or shorten the link first.

Can I put a logo in the middle?

Not here. Overlaying requires relying on a high correction level and often breaks scanning; use a dedicated tool.

Do these codes expire?

No. The content is encoded into the pattern itself, so nothing has to stay online.
