About Image Stitcher

Drop the images in order, pick vertical or horizontal, set the gap and background, and they become one long image. Reorder before stitching and watch the total size update as you go.

Common width is the whole trick

Screenshots and chat exports rarely share a width, so stitching them raw gives you a ragged edge. Tick "Common width", type 1080, and every image is scaled proportionally to match. Untick it to keep natural sizes and fill the gaps with the background colour, aligned start, centre or end.

There is a hard limit

A browser canvas maxes out at 16384px per side on Chrome and Edge. A dozen tall phone screenshots will hit that, and you get an explicit error instead of a blank image. Split the job or lower the width if you need more.

When the background shows

It shows through uneven screenshot edges and transparent images. White suits most cases; for a dark composite switch it to dark so the seams do not glare.

Frequently asked questions

How many images can I stitch?

The count is unlimited; the total pixel size is not. Vertically, keep the sum of all heights under 16384px.

Does stitching reduce quality?

Not noticeably when the common width equals or exceeds the source. Below the source it is a downscale, so some detail goes. Untick the common size to keep originals.

Can I stitch horizontally?

Yes — pick Horizontal and the common width field turns into common height.
